The Blue Rhythm Band's first CD, Chasin' the Blues
What Are People Saying about the Blue Rhythm Band?
In this age of momentary acknowledgement and empty coolness it is refreshing to find Crytzer’s Blue Rhythm Band performing outside the twittered masses. Particularly of note are Crytzer’s originals: “Dickey’s Blues,” “ Rachin’ in Rhythm,” and the title track “Chasin the Blues” which blend his love of the big band era and his ear for creating a tapestry that was meant for listening and dancing and lasting. Bravo to the performers. Bravo to the task. -Ken Wiley “The Art of Jazz” NPR Affiliate KPLU 88.5 Seattle, WA
"Glenn's music is authentic vintage swing. His bands are two of only a select handful of groups playing today that excite me as both a musician and a dancer."
-Jonathan Stout The Campus Five The Jonathan Stout Orchestra
The Blue Rhythm Band sets itself apart by delivering the true classic sound of the big bands with the highest quality musicians and arrangements. Glenn doesn't make any exceptions with quality when it comes to maintaining the integrity of the big band era while adding his own musical talent into the mix. -Tonya Morris Camp Jitterbug Organizer Altadena, CA
The Blue Rhythm Band has a great sound and is swingin’ hard! -Jesse Miner Yehoodi Radio Host of “Hey Mr. Jesse” San Francisco, CA
"The band truly represents the combination of the past meeting the present, a vintage feel with a solid rhythm that you can really groove to, for any dancer or musician. This big band swings hard!"
San Diego, CA
